Breadcrumbs Settings

Under the Breadcrumbs tab in the BasePress Settings page, you find some options to set-up the breadcrumbs in your knowledge base.

    1. Breadcrumbs name: This is the name that appears in the breadcrumbs that links to the entry page of your knowledge base. The default setting is ‘Knowledge Base’. You can change it to whatever fits your project best like: documentation, docs, help, documents etc. We suggest that you make this name match with the entry page title, for a better user experience.
    2. Include Home link: If you want the breadcrumbs to include a link to your Home Page, use this option.
    3. Text for Home link: If you have enabled “Include Home link”. This is the name that appears in the breadcrumbs that links to the home page of your website. The default is “Home”; you can set it to whatever suits your project.
    4. Include parent pages link: If your KB starts from a child page and you want the parent page to be included in the breadcrumbs; click this option.
