An attractive BasePress feature is articles voting, it helps you to keep track of the articles in your WordPress knowledge base that need improvement. When you’re running a knowledge base it’s important to know if customers find the articles in your documentation helpful.
To activate this feature and furthermore personalize certain aspects of the voting system navigate to BasePress > Settings > Votes.
BasePress uses both article votes and article’s views count to direct new visitors to articles that people found helpful.
You can view the articles’ votes and scores in the admin area, seen in the screenshot below. You can either sort them by scores or views. As a result you can immediately see, what your visitors are reading most and understand if the articles were suitable.
You can reset the article views individually or in bulk from the Bulk Actions menu in your KB admin area.
The question that appears on the articles voting buttons can be personalized. Navigate to BasePress > Settings >Votes. In addition you can change the icons used in your voting buttons from the dedicated Icons Manager in the BasePress menu. Navigate to BasePress > Icons Manager.
